Deck overview

This Lathliss, Dragon Queen deck is a proactive mono-red tribal stompy list that leverages cost reducers, mana rocks, and explosive Dragon payoffs. The game plan focuses on establishing early ramp via cards like Dragonlord's Servant, Ruby Medallion, and Dragonspeaker Shaman to deploy Lathliss, Dragon Queen on Turn 5. Once assembled, every subsequent nontoken Dragon triggers Lathliss to create a 5/5 flying Dragon token. Synergy pieces like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas convert these high-power entries into immediate burn damage, while Utvara Hellkite rapidly multiplies combat presence. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming aerial attacks amplified by Lathliss's team-wide firebreathing pump. While the deck boasts heavy redundancy and powerful combat scaling, it remains reliant on resolving high-mana permanents at sorcery speed, making it susceptible to well-timed board sweepers and instant-speed stack interaction.
