Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov aristocrats engine built around Teysa Karlov, whose doubling of death triggers turns the deck's dense network of sacrifice outlets, drainers, and token generators into compounding value. The primary plan is to establish a cheap drainer such as Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat, add a free sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer, and then generate endless fodder through Pawn of Ulamog, Reassembling Skeleton, Thalisse, Reverent Medium, and Elenda, the Dusk Rose. The deck wins through repeated death-trigger drain, the Reveillark/Karmic Guide loop, token swarm pressure, and Exsanguinate or Sanguine Bond as closers. Teysa is an important force multiplier but not a mandatory combo piece; the 99 has enough independent drain and recursion to keep grinding even if she is removed.
