Deck overview

This is a five-color Hero-tribal +1/+1-counter deck helmed by Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.. The commander's one-time "Power-up" ability tutors any Hero, Equipment, or Vehicle directly to the battlefield, acting as a command-zone cheat-engine for the deck's biggest threats. The 99 is built around a dense Hero tribe with heavy counter synergies-proliferate, counter-doubling, and anthem effects turn a wide board of small legends into an overwhelming combat presence. Primary wins come from combat damage via huge flying tramplers like Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger, the 16/16 The Coming of Galactus token, or a pumped team backed by Primal Vigor and Brokers Ascendancy. The deck leans on incremental value and inevitability rather than fast combos, with the commander providing a one-shot surge of power that often decides the game.
