Syrix by user7998361

Format: Commander

Commander: Syrix, Carrier of the Flame

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rakdos Phoenix tribal built around Syrix, Carrier of the Flame. Syrix is a hasty flying commander that can be recast from the graveyard whenever another Phoenix dies, and it turns every creature card leaving the graveyard into an end-step ping. The primary plan is to bin and recur Phoenixes, assemble a hasty flying army, then multiply chip damage with Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, or Collective Inferno. Secondary paths are mass damage from Earthquake or repeated Syr Konrad leave-graveyard triggers. Syr Konrad functions as a hidden commander. The Phoenix shell can still operate without Syrix, but loses much of its reach.
