Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul stompy build led by Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers, designed to ramp aggressively into a 7-mana commander that immediately cheats game-ending beaters directly from the library into combat. Supported by 12 early ramp pieces including Birds of Paradise, Sol Ring, and Nature's Lore, the deck consistently establishes 7 mana by Turn 4 or 5. Upon attacking, the commander triggers a pseudo-cascade that puts powerful threats like Worldspine Wurm, Etali, Primal Conqueror, or Terror of the Peaks onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Combat multipliers such as Unnatural Growth, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Pathbreaker Ibex rapidly compound damage output, threatening lethal knockouts within 2 response cycles by Turn 7. An infinite combat combo between Aggravated Assault and Old Gnawbone provides a compact backup finish. While the deck possesses explosive damage velocity and strong engine recovery, it remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers, targeted removal, and pillow-fort effects.
