Thraxi by blackcry

Format: Commander

Commander: Thraximundar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Zombie tribal and sacrifice control engine helmed by Thraximundar. The game plan focuses on accumulating Zombie lords, recurring threats, and establishing oppressive edict loops with Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Call to the Grave to keep opposing boards empty. While Thraximundar acts as an evasive, hasty finisher that punishes creature-based strategies, the deck primarily wins through overwhelming combat damage from swarms of buffed Zombie tokens generated by Grave Titan, Diregraf Colossus, and Endless Ranks of the Dead. Additional win paths include mass life drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel, explosive combo loops using Gravecrawler and Grimgrin, Corpse-Born, and stealing opposing boards with Tergrid, God of Fright.
