Deck overview

This is a Squirrel/Food-token-centric Golgari deck commanded by Ygra, Eater of All. The plan is to bury opponents in advantage through recursive token generation: every artifact and creature creates Food or Treasure, and Ygra converts each dead Food into permanent +1/+1 counters. Cards like Peregrin Took and Bristlebud Farmer turn every token into extra cards, buffs, Drain Life triggers, while Hazel of the Rootbloom and Chatterfang, Squirrel General present terrifying combo lines and wide kill shots. The primary plan is to create a massive token army and win through evasion and unavoidable drain; backup conditions include Hazel's Nocturne, Trail of Crumbs, and Pitiless Plunderer for massive swing turns. The deck has just one "true tutor" (Worldly Tutor) and only a couple of draw-type recurrences, so the game plan revolves around redundancy and tutor/search rather than simple drawing. The commander is a massive engine, tutoring a key token, recycling an artifact suite, and doubling a draw pile.
