Deck overview

This mono-green aggressive deck leverages efficiently costed, high-power creatures to exploit Ghalta, Primal Hunger's cost-reduction ability. By curving early mana accelerators into dense power-stat beaters like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus, the deck regularly deploys a 12/12 trampling commander on Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters, power-based card advantage engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise replenish the hand with fresh threats. The deck applies mounting combat pressure, using trample enablers and explosive finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate opponents across successive attack phases. While the deck possesses remarkable mana efficiency and resilience through redundant beaters, its reliance on heavy permanent boards leaves it vulnerable to creature sweepers and instant-speed spot removal during its 3-cycle damage clock.
