Format: Commander

Commander: Traxos, Scourge of Kroog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Traxos is a huge trampling construct, but the deck's real engine is colorless mana multiplication and the singleton Ugin, Eye of the Storms. It ramps through Urza's lands, Locus lands, Gates, and artifact accelerants, then either untaps Traxos with historic spells or aims to cast Ugin, Eye of the Storms and activate -11 for a one-turn kill. Secondary paths include Field of the Dead zombie swarms, Urza's Factory tokens, and Glaring Fleshraker pings. The commander is an early beater and historic-spell payoff rather than the main win condition; the list is built to use Traxos for pressure while assembling a big-mana Ugin finish.
