Deck overview

This Mono-Red Aggro-Stax deck aims to deploy Slicer, Hired Muscle on Turn 1 or Turn 2 using explosive fast mana. Once converted to Slicer, High-Speed Antagonist, it attacks immediately with double strike and haste. During each opponent's upkeep, Slicer passes under their control goaded, forcing 24 commander damage across the table in a single rotation. While opponents attack each other, the deck resolves oppressive stax artifacts like Trinisphere, Blood Moon, Cursed Totem, and Torpor Orb to lock out opposing combo lines, mana development, and creature abilities. Because Slicer requires no further mana investment once deployed, the deck breaks parity under its own lock pieces. Supporting equipment like Commander's Plate and O-Naginata accelerates the lethal clock, while redirection spells like Deflecting Swat defend Slicer from removal. The strategy creates an immediate multi-player race where opponents must answer the commander through heavy tax and stax constraints.
