UPGRADED SAURON by Diomede

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is a Grixis amass and Ring-tempts value pile built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. Its primary plan is to grow a single Orc Army into a lethal evasive threat while using the Ring to draw four cards per temptation and discard fuel for the graveyard. Secondary paths include a Wraith subtheme from Nazgul and Lord of the Nazgul, and a reanimation package with Living Death, Reanimate, and Sauron, Lord of the Rings. The commander is both engine and finisher: he taxes opponents with ward, amasses when they cast, and turns army combat damage into card advantage. There is no double-faced commander. The 'hidden commander' is effectively the Army token itself, supported by Saruman, the White Hand.
