Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact midrange deck commanded by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The primary game plan accelerates mana on the opening turns using efficient two-mana mana rocks and land ramp, setting up compounding token engines by turn 4. Engines like Simulacrum Synthesizer, Urza, Chief Artificer, and Sai, Master Thopterist produce massive Construct and Thopter armies whenever artifacts enter the battlefield. The commander provides mid-game burst card draw scaled to the colors of artifacts in play, refueling your hand without relying on a single centerpiece. On turn 6, the deck converts its wide artifact board into a game-ending combat wave through mass overrun effects such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Craterclaw Colossus, or Krang, Utrom Warlord. Robust shielding from Bronze Guardian, Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and Heroic Intervention safeguards the board against removal, while one-sided board wipes like Organic Extinction clear blockers to secure a multi-turn combat finish across two response cycles.
