Aerith by DrCarlson

Format: Commander

Commander: Aerith, Last Ancient

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Aerith, Last Ancient leads a Selesnya lifegain-and-counters shell. The primary plan is to gain life every turn, convert that life into +1/+1 counters, and use Aerith's Raise to recur creatures from the graveyard for steady value. Secondary paths are the Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Archangel of Thune + Walking Ballista infinite-damage loop and a Craterhoof/Finale of Devastation overrun. Aerith Gainsborough appears as an extra Aerith-flavored engine in the 99, but the command zone is the recursion commander. The deck can tutor key pieces and protect its combo with Silence, Grand Abolisher, Heroic Intervention, and Teferi's Protection.
