Deck overview

This mono-green deck harnesses Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider to execute an aggressive +1/+1 counters stompy game plan reinforced by asymmetric stax. By leveraging top-tier acceleration—including Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, Sol Ring, and efficient 1-mana dorks—the deck reliably reaches six mana on turn 4. Casting Vorinclex immediately applies combat pressure through trample and haste while turning on a counter-doubling engine that supercharges hydras, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, and Railway Brawler. Simultaneously, Vorinclex cripples opposing planeswalkers, sagas, and counter strategies, while Null Rod, Collector Ouphe, and Trinisphere disrupt artifact-based ramp and low-cost combo attempts. The deck converts this resource disparity into lethal combat damage by turns 5 and 6, using Finale of Devastation or massive trample attackers to close the table. Strong redundancy and independent counter engines allow the deck to remain lethal even without its commander.
