Deck overview

This is a Jund token-aristocrats deck built around the Partner-Survivor pair Abby, Merciless Soldier and Ellie, Vengeful Hunter. Abby's cast trigger creates a burst of 1/1 Cordyceps tokens equal to the mana spent on her; the fact that Abby herself is given to an opponent is irrelevant because the tokens stay on your side. Ellie is the most flexible sacrifice outlet, converting every token into direct damage once Basilisk Collar makes her activations life-neutral. The deck does not plan to win through combat damage: tokens chump-block and then get sacrificed after blocks, feeding Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Mayhem Devil, and Goblin Bombardment. The fastest wins come from infinite sacrifice loops, primarily Gravecrawler + Warren Soultrader or Chatterfang, Squirrel General + Pitiless Plunderer, with Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos controlling the board while the engine runs.
