Oops all Creatures by MoDiddly

Format: Commander

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Animar is a single-face commander and the core engine of this creature-first Temur deck: every creature cast adds a counter and lowers all future creature costs. The primary plan is to ramp with one-drop mana dorks, cast Animar early, turn a cheap creature loop (Shrieking Drake or Ancestral Statue) into a free-cast engine, and convert the draws from Beast Whisperer into an overwhelming board. The usual finish is a huge hasted/trampling attack via Maelstrom Wanderer plus Craterhoof Behemoth, often with Karlach providing extra combat. The fallback path is a cascade pile around Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex, and Imoti. There is no real hidden or double-faced commander; the deck is built to use Animar's face, with Maelstrom/Imoti as value backups.
