Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Control build commanded by Zevlor, Elturel Exile. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana through low-cost rocks to deploy Zevlor alongside powerful single-target instants and sorceries. Zevlor's ability copies targeted spells for each other opponent, converting targeted theft, removal, and burn into crushing three-for-one advantages. Key powerhouses like Cruel Ultimatum, Bribery, and River's Rebuke dismantle opposing boards and hand sizes simultaneously. Value engines such as Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist reward copying spells with massive card draw and Treasure production. If the commander is removed, the deck easily pivots to alternative spell duplication engines like Thousand-Year Storm and Mizzix's Mastery, finishing games through stolen threats, token swarms, or direct burn.
