Kumena Merfolks by Eildonp

Format: Commander

Commander: Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca heads a Merfolk token deck that wants to flood the battlefield with cheap Merfolk, turn that board into cards with Kumena and other draw engines, then finish either through a wide unblockable attack or an infinite tap/token/mill combo. The commander is the draw and pump engine that ties the token openings together, while the hidden combo center is Deeproot Pilgrimage, Intruder Alarm, and a tap-based outlet such as Drowner of Secrets. The deck can also win through Simic Ascendancy or a massive Overwhelming Stampede turn, but its most efficient real path is the enchantment-based loop.
