Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red Voltron and impulse-advantage strategy led by Kellan, Planar Trailblazer. The primary game plan deploys Kellan on Turn 1 and rapidly levels him into a 3/2 Rogue with double strike by Turn 3. Equipped with potent power-boosting artifacts like Tenza, Godo's Maul, Blackblade Reforged, and Diamond Pick-Axe, Kellan delivers crushing chunks of commander damage while generating two impulse-draw cards on every unblocked combat hit. The deck leverages Treasure generators such as Professional Face-Breaker and Beamtown Beatstick to sustain mana velocity, enabling you to cast exiled cards immediately. Supporting threats like Laelia, the Blade Reforged and Urabrask, Heretic Praetor provide secondary clocks and card advantage. Defensive equipment including Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots, alongside redirection spells like Return the Favor, shields Kellan against targeted disruption as you eliminate opponents across consecutive combat steps.
