Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy piloted by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both a primary mana engine and a global damage source, gaining +1/+1 counters and pinging each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, then tapping for colored mana equal to its power. The deck accelerates in the early turns using cost reducers and mana rocks, deploys Vivi on Turn 3, and establishes a functioning spell-chaining engine by Turn 4. On Turn 5, it hits critical mass by linking draw engines such as Archmage Emeritus and mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist with explosive token generators such as Manaform Hellkite and Rionya, Fire Dancer. The deck closes the game around Turn 6 through accumulated Vivi triggers, large-scale direct damage, and overwhelming token combat powered by Surge to Victory.
