Deck overview

This Abzan list combines a resilient Myrkul, Lord of Bones engine with an efficient infinite win condition centered on Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog. Backed by extensive 1-mana green ramp dorks and multiple unconditional black tutors, the deck smoothly accelerates into 6 to 8 mana by turn 4 or 5. Silence and Grand Abolisher protect the execution window, allowing Chain of Smog to target the pilot indefinitely and trigger Magecraft repeatedly until all three opponents are drained from 40 to 0. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into its commander to convert creatures like Devoted Druid and Barrenton Medic into noncreature enchantments, producing infinite mana into Torment of Hailfire or establishing high-attrition death engines.
