Deck overview

This Temur Midrange deck leverages the partner pairing of Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist to combine aggressive Voltron combat pressure with card advantage and extra turns. The deck uses low-curve ramp and mana rocks to deploy Pako on Turn 4. With haste, Pako attacks immediately, exiling the top card of each player's library with fetch counters while growing its power. Haldan transforms this exile pool into an accessible second hand, allowing the deck to play opponents' lands and cast noncreature spells using mana of any color. As Pako scales into a lethal commander damage threat, exile payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist and Keeper of Secrets burn opponents down, while extra-turn spells like Temporal Mastery and Temporal Trespass compress the clock. Supported by free and low-cost countermagic, the deck overwhelms opponents with immense card velocity and combat momentum.
