Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Its primary game plan revolves around casting low-cost Auras on opposing threats and friendly creatures to construct a defensive pillowfort while draining the table. By enchanting opposing commanders and beaters with cards like Darksteel Mutation, Heliod's Punishment, and Ghoulish Impetus, Eriette completely prevents those creatures from attacking you while weaponizing them to deal passive end-step drain. The engine is fueled by efficient draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer, backed by cost-reducing creatures. As the game develops, the deck transitions from incremental attrition to lethal pressure using token engines such as Hallowed Haunting, Archon of Sun's Grace, and Sigil of the Empty Throne, or burst life-loss with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exsanguinate. Strong recursion through Mantle of the Ancients and Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish provides resilient recovery against board wipes.
