Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Format: Commander

Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund lands-matter sacrifice deck helmed by Hearthhull, the Worldseed, a 5-mana Spacecraft that converts sacrificed lands into card draw, extra land drops, and table-wide drain. The core loop is simple and powerful: sacrifice lands to the commander and engines like The Gitrog Monster, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Baloth Prime, then recur the entire graveyard with Splendid Reclamation or Aftermath Analyst to do it again. Landfall payoffs - Omnath, Locus of Rage, Rampaging Baloths, Hammer of Purphoros - turn each recursion into a swarm of tokens, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum converts a big landfall turn into a chain of extra combats. The deck wins primarily through combat with a massive token army, supplemented by drain from the commander and Mayhem Devil, with Worldsoul's Rage as a burst finisher. It is a grind-value deck that snowballs through repeated land sacrifice and recursion.
