Edgar Markov, BloodLines by DillyDally

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal midrange deck helmed by Edgar Markov, leaning hard into Eminence token generation and a wide board of lords, lifelink bodies, and aristocrat drains. Every Vampire spell cast produces a free 1/1 token whether Edgar is in the command zone or on the battlefield, so the deck steadily floods the board while deploying anthems like Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, Captivating Vampire, and Rally the Ranks. The battlefield body then supercharges the swarm with haste and a global +1/+1-counter attack trigger. Primary wins come from go-wide combat backed by drain engines (Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Sanctum Seeker, Malakir Bloodwitch) and the life-loss doubler Bloodletter of Aclazotz. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck is a flavorful, fair tribal beatdown pile that closes through combat and ping damage rather than explosive tutors or fast mana.
