Deck overview

Vren, the Relentless is a Dimir rat-token deck built around turning opponent creature deaths into an overwhelming rat swarm. The primary line is to force sacrifice effects and targeted removal, have Vren exile the casualties, then create a rat at the end step for each creature that died. Secondary paths are a classic rat flood from Marrow-Gnawer/Piper plus aristocrat-style drains from Mirkwood Bats, Ayara, and Valley Rotcaller. Vren is the engine, while Karumonix and Marrow-Gnawer function as hidden commanders for the tribal core. The deck can also win through Gisa's steal/recursion axis and Grave Pact, and it has enough independent token makers that a Vren-less game still has a viable, slower midrange plan.
