Deck overview

Doctor Doom is a black-heavy attrition/artifact engine deck that plans to bury opponents under incremental card advantage and drain effects while generating Doombot tokens. The commander provides two draw triggers per turn cycle (one from his end-step ability, one from token death syncing with Erebos/Ayara), and the deck can pivot into combo-style wins via Sanguine Bond+Vito/Exsanguinate, Bolas's Citadel+Aetherflux, or KCI loops. Most wins use the commander's artifact tokens as fuel. The deck is moderately commander-dependent: it grinds without him but loses its primary draw engine and token source. Planeswalkers Liliana Vess and Liliana of the Dark Realms provide tutors and mana acceleration, while black sweepers control the board.
