The Miku Deck (duplicated from Dork4Short) by TheFoolBehindTheCard

Format: Commander

Commander: Child of Alara

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Child of Alara is a five-color reset button rather than a build-around engine. The deck's main plan is to assemble WUBRG, then choose between a fast commander-damage clock from Child and a go-wide token/value plan that ends with Halo Fountain or Finale of Devastation. Token production comes from Elspeth Tirel, Outlaws' Merriment, Voice of Victory, Grand Crescendo, and Halo Fountain itself; life gain from Archangel of Thune, Trostani, and Soul Warden turns the swarm into counters and stabilizing life. Gwen Stacy's front serves as cast-from-exile value while Ghost-Spider turns those plays into counters, but neither is a hidden commander. Child is mostly held as a universal answer, with the token plan running independently underneath.
