Kefka's Madness by user7632025

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis discard-control deck, helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, weaponizes forced discarding to generate card advantage, fuel the graveyard, and trigger a dense suite of discard payoffs. The front side of Kefka acts as a mass discard engine that draws cards based on the card types discarded, while the back side turns opponent life loss into a torrent of draws. The primary win conditions are infinite mana via Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake into Torment of Hailfire, the Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity infinite damage loop, or Laboratory Maniac after drawing the entire library. A robust recursion package (Reanimate, Victimize, Kess, Dissident Mage, Emet-Selch of the Third Seat) ensures the deck can recover from disruption and reassemble its combos.
