Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements is a creature-combo value deck. The primary plan is to cast Animar on turn three, chain cheap creatures and bounce effects to grow it, then use Ancestral Statue to create infinite cast triggers and finish with Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, or Witty Roastmaster. A secondary path uses Peregrine Drake with Temur Sabertooth for extra mana, while Simic Ascendancy offers an alternate win. Momir Vig and Fauna Shaman act as repeatable tutors, while bounce creatures and counterspells protect the commander. The deck can also win through commander damage once Animar is huge, using Rogue's Passage or Garruk's Uprising.
