Hot Dogs and Hobbits by Ieatcarrots

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sam, Loyal Attendant is the engine of this Abzan Food deck: he creates a Food at combat and makes Food activations cost less. Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit is the supporting draw engine: after any life gain he can attack, trigger the Ring, and draw cards once the Ring has tempted twice. There is no hidden commander; the build is a Sam/Frodo partnership. The primary plan multiplies Food and other tokens with Peregrin Took, Exalted Sunborn, Parallel Lives, and Chatterfang, then converts the resulting mass into life-drain damage. Secondary plans are the Sanguine Bond/Vito plus Exquisite Blood loop and a hasty token swarm via Pippin. Commander removal slows but does not stop the deck.
