Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender is a land-combat deck that turns artifacts into lands and then earthbends those lands into hasty attackers with +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is to ramp into Toph, trigger landfall engines, and finish with extra combat or double strike. Secondary paths are token swarms from Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Omnath, Locus of Rage, plus recursion and late-game value from Cultivator Colossus and Titania, Protector of Argoth. The commander is the engine for both artifact-land synergies and repeatable earthbend triggers. There is no hidden second face; Bumi, Unleashed and Avatar Kyoshi act as sub-commanders for the same theme.
