Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf tribal engine that leverages graveyard synergy, large mana generation, and legendary Elf triggers. Thranduil copies all activated abilities of Elves in your graveyard and loots whenever a legendary Elf enters. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana dorks before pivoting into explosive mana generation via Marwyn, the Nurturer, Elvish Archdruid, or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. Victory is achieved either through infinite mana combos involving Umbral Mantle to pump the board, looping Devoted Druid with counter support, or trampling opponents using Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Tyvar, the Pummeler, or a massive Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord fling.
