Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain engine deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, who converts every creature ETB into life and turns that life into an army through populate. The deck's core loop is generating life from creature drops (Soul Warden, Suture Priest, Prosperous Innkeeper), banking that life into Well of Lost Dreams card draw and Aetherflux Reservoir reach, while doubling tokens via Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, and Rhys the Redeemed. The primary win is an overwhelming wide board pumped by Archangel of Thune and Nykthos Paragon, with Storm Herd and Halo Fountain as alternate closing lines. Trostani is a value engine rather than a strict requirement - the populate and lifegain chassis functions independently of her, which keeps the deck resilient but not commander-dependent.
