Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Faerie tribal and flying token strategy helmed by Alela, Artful Provocateur. The primary game plan develops mana rocks on the early turns to cast Alela by Turn 3 or 4, subsequently casting cheap artifacts, enchantments, and Faerie spells to generate a wide army of flying tokens. The deck converts combat connections into continuous card advantage using effects like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Skullclamp. It transitions into a decisive must-answer state around Turn 6 by stacking anthem effects, converting fliers into 4/4 Dragons with Shadow Puppeteers, or resolving Akroma's Will. Robust interaction like Dovin's Veto, Void Rend, and Raise the Palisade disrupts opponents, while premier phasing spells like Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment safeguard the board against sweepers, closing the game around Turn 8.
