the fifth gear (duplicated from shinewend) by kiotakahn

Format: Commander

Commander: The Fifth Doctor and Susan Foreman

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Bant deck builds a tapped board that wins through Vehicles and +1/+1 counters. The Fifth Doctor rewards you for not attacking or entering with creatures, putting counters on them and untapping them at your end step, while Susan Foreman ramps. You tap creatures for mana with Cryptolith Rite and Song of Freyalise, for cards with Danny Pink and Fallowsage, and for tokens with Emmara and Stonybrook Schoolmaster, then untap them with Seedborn Muse effects to reuse them and crew Vehicles like Skysovereign and Weatherlight. Counters spread with Hardened Scales and proliferate. The only infinite loop needs Basking Broodscale, Reluctant Role Model and Thunderous Velocipede and still needs combat to close.
