Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Voltron deck commanded by Saruman, the White Hand. Rather than suiting up the commander directly, every noncreature spell you cast amasses Orc counters onto an Army token equal to that spell's mana value. The strategy accelerates through low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer to deploy Saruman on turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, the deck chains cantrips, countermagic, and high-impact delve spells to rapidly inflate the Army into a massive threat. Built-in ward {2} and defensive spells like Lazotep Plating keep the Army alive while growing it further. The deck closes games by converting that high power into lethal direct damage across the table using Chandra's Ignition, Essence Harvest, Soul's Fire, and Fling, backed by Lord of the Nazgûl as a potent secondary token engine.
