Deck overview

This deck is an Ape and Monkey typal midrange strategy led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The game plan revolves around turning artifact destruction into rapid board growth. Kibo distributes Banana tokens to all players, giving opponents mana and life while creating guaranteed targets for removal. Whenever an opponent's artifact is put into a graveyard, Kibo places +1/+1 counters on all your Apes and Monkeys. The deck runs dense artifact removal, including repeatable effects like Gorilla Shaman and mass answers like Vandalblast, along with type-shifting enablers like Liquimetal Coating and Liquimetal Torque. Counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution accelerate your creatures into massive threats. Card advantage engines like Viridian Revel and The One Ring keep resources flowing. Once your board reaches critical power, combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and evasion from Champion of Lambholt close out the game in decisive swings.
