Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Blue artifact midrange strategy commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist. The primary game plan establishes an efficient engine early by combining cheap artifact ramp, cost-reducing permanents, and Sai's token generation. Every artifact cast yields a 1/1 flying Thopter token, creating immediate board presence that can be leveraged for defense, card draw, or aggressive pressure. Midgame turns expand this resource engine through steady card-draw permanents like Vedalken Archmage, Shimmer Dragon, and Padeem, Consul of Innovation. The deck closes out games by converting wide boards of tokens and utility artifacts into lethal flying strikes using Cyberdrive Awakener, anthem effects like Forsaken Monument and Chief of the Foundry, or massive tall beaters like Kappa Cannoneer and Nettlecyst. A dense suite of low-cost counterspells and asymmetric resets such as Cyclonic Rift and All Is Dust protects the board and clears the path to victory.
