Smaug Wicked Worm by Kuroashi

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Rakdos treasure-and-artifacts deck is built around Smaug, Wicked Worm, who enters the battlefield creating a massive burst of Treasure equal to the number of artifacts your opponents control. The deck turns that burst into a steady card-advantage engine by casting spells with that Treasure mana to trigger Smaug's draw effect, while simultaneously piling up lethal drain triggers from Reckless Fireweaver, Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, and similar pieces. The commander is both the primary Treasure generator and the key card-flow engine; without it the deck loses significant velocity. Secondary win conditions include Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact instant win, Revel in Riches' ten-Treasure condition, and large flying beatdown from dragons like Cavern Effigy and Hellkite Igniter. The overall game plan is to flood the board with artifacts, convert them into damage and cards, and crush opponents under a tide of incremental pings and big attacks.
