Thranduil-Mod by Jayzis

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking commands a Sultai Elfball and graveyard combo deck that turns the commander into a lethal amalgam of fallen Elves. The primary game plan fills the graveyard with utility and mana-producing Elves using self-mill and targeted burial. Once Thranduil enters the battlefield, he inherits activated abilities from the graveyard, unlocking recursive untaps with Devoted Druid, massive mana generation via Priest of Titania or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, and game-ending pump effects from Tyvar, the Pummeler. Secondary win conditions leverage Lathril, Blade of the Elves token swarms, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord life-drain flings, and traditional Elf combat overruns.
