Deck overview

Zilortha is a midrange Gruul stompy deck that turns high-power creatures into draw engines and lethal damage. The primary plan is to accelerate with mana dorks and signets, establish a power-matters engine (Selvala, Heart of the Wilds), then cast enormous trampling threats such as Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant and Etali, Primal Storm. The cleanest kill is Jumbo Cactuar plus Chandra's Ignition: Cactuar attacks for 10,000 power, then Ignition deals that much to every opponent. Zilortha acts mostly as protection, making low-toughness high-power creatures such as Thunderblust and Frenzied Baloth much harder to kill. Secondary paths use Xenagos, God of Revels, God-Eternal Rhonas, or Unnatural Growth to double power and overwhelm with trample. Selvala is a de facto hidden commander and mana engine.
