Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red midrange strategy commanded by Jaxis, the Troublemaker, focusing on duplicating high-impact creatures to trigger powerful enter-the-battlefield, combat, and death effects. The deck develops mana and discard-synergy engines during the early turns, establishing Jaxis on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Jaxis begins cloning utility creatures to draw cards and ramp. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by copying heavy hitters like Combustible Gearhulk, Overlord of the Boilerbilges, Devilish Valet, or Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest. Damage amplifiers such as Fiendish Duo and secondary copy engines like Calamity, Galloping Inferno rapidly scale damage across the table. While the deck possesses remarkable recovery through Jaxis's Blitz mechanic and redundant threats, it lacks dense stack protection and dedicated non-creature removal, leaving it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo strategies.
