Deck overview

This is a Rat tribal deck helmed by Wick, the Whorled Mind, built around a two-phase engine: first, generate a Snail token via Rat entries, then pump it with +1/+1 counters from subsequent Rat triggers, and finally sacrifice it for massive damage to each opponent and card draw. The deck supports this with a dense suite of token generators (Song of Totentanz, Marrow-Gnawer, Revenge of the Rats) and Rat lords (Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, Ogre Slumlord) that also enable a secondary combat win through a wide board of evasive or deathtouch Rats. Recursion from Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm and Nezumi Graverobber provides resilience, while the commander's activated ability serves as the primary finisher. The deck is heavily tribal, with no infinite combos, and relies on incremental value and a single explosive turn to close out games.
