Deck overview

Trostani leads a classic Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain deck that wins by turning incidental life gain into a massive board. The primary plan is to deploy Trostani early, generate and populate creature tokens, and convert every life trigger into +1/+1 counters with Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, and Lathiel. Secondary paths are the Halo Fountain 15-creature alternate win, Aetherflux Reservoir life-burn, and Finale of Devastation fetching Soul of Eternity for a hasty lethal combat. Rhys the Redeemed is the hidden commander and token doubler that accelerates the populate engine. The deck has solid incremental value but lacks counterspells and one-turn combo speed, so wins come through attrition and a critical mass of tokens.
