Deck overview

This General Tazri deck combines an aggressive Ally tribal foundation with a defensive aikido damage-reflection subtheme. The primary plan leverages General Tazri's enter-the-battlefield trigger to tutor specific Ally toolbox pieces directly into hand, such as Harabaz Druid for explosive mana, Smellerbee for haste and card velocity, or Sea Gate Loremaster for long-term card replenishment. Once a critical mass of Allies is assembled, Tazri's activated ability grants +5/+5 to the entire board, threatening rapid combat eliminations starting around Turn 6. Alongside this proactive creature strategy, the deck maintains potent defensive interaction through high-impact redirection spells like Inkshield, Comeuppance, Deflecting Palm, and Brash Taunter paired with Arcbond, effectively weaponizing opponents' large attacks. While versatile and resilient against aggressive opponents, the deck requires significant mana investments and remains vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers that reset Tazri's commander tax.
