Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya midrange engine built around Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. It combines life-total escalation with token generation to overwhelm the table through combat. The game plan accelerates in the opening turns with efficient green mana dorks and land-ramp spells, deploying Trostani ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Trostani converts high-toughness creatures and token copies into massive life gains while populating tall tokens created by cards like Phyrexian Processor, Crested Sunmare, and Gruff Triplets. Life gain directly fuels boardwide pump engines such as Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, and Blossoming Bogbeast, transforming utility tokens into lethal attackers. The deck buffers its life total high above starting values to survive aggressive combat races, using defensive standouts like Guardian of Faith and Grand Crescendo to preserve its army against opposing sweepers before closing the game with overwhelming combat damage.
