Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul stompy engine commanded by Bello, Bard of the Brambles. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana on the first two turns, casting Bello on Turn 3, and curving into 4+ CMC non-Equipment artifacts and non-Aura enchantments. On your turn, Bello animates these permanents into 4/4 indestructible Elemental creatures with haste that draw cards when they deal combat damage. By chaining these animated permanents into damage doublers like Gratuitous Violence and Unnatural Growth, the deck applies heavy pressure while constantly replenishing its hand. Sweepers like Blasphemous Act act as one-sided board wipes during your turn because your animated permanents are indestructible. The deck relies heavily on Bello remaining on the battlefield to maintain offensive tempo, but it can pivot into hardcasting large standalone creatures if the commander is removed.
