Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant Midrange deck commanded by Kellan, the Kid. The strategy revolves around casting spells from outside the hand using mechanics such as Foretell, Suspend, Plot, Cascade, Discover, and Prepared adventure spells. Whenever you cast a spell from exile or another non-hand zone, Kellan allows you to cheat a permanent of equal or lesser mana value directly from your hand onto the battlefield. This tempo engine rapidly deploys massive threats like Apex Devastator, Railway Brawler, and Glacier Godmaw well ahead of curve. The deck overwhelms opponents by combining explosive board presence with continuous card advantage from landfall tokens and exile recasts, eventually winning through large-scale combat damage. While it lacks instant-win combos or fast tutors, its resilience to board wipes is high because many resources remain safely banked in exile.
