Deck overview

This Yarok, the Desecrated deck is a Sultai midrange value deck built around enter-the-battlefield triggers and landfall scaling. It accelerates its mana early using dense 1- and 2-CMC green ramp spells and a heavy land package of 47 lands, ensuring regular land drops and smooth mana fixing. Once Yarok enters on turn 4, subsequent creatures and lands trigger their abilities an additional time. On turn 5, engines like Risen Reef and Tatyova generate explosive card advantage and land acceleration. By turn 6, the deck pivots into critical onset by resolving high-impact doubled threats such as Agent of Treachery, Roil Elemental, or Field of the Dead, systematically stealing opposing permanents and producing wide token armies. Opponents face escalating asymmetric attrition as their best resources are stolen or destroyed, and the deck converts this dominance into a lethal combat finish by turn 8 across two response cycles.
